The SunSaver Duo from Morningstar is a state-of-the-art pulse-width modulation (PWM) charge controller for two batteries, designed for RVs, travel trailers, boats, and vacation homes. This product charges two separate and isolated batteries simultaneously—for example, a “house battery” and a “motor battery”—based on user-selected priorities. The Morningstar SunSaver Duo is based on the legendary SunSaver controller technology, which is widely recognized in the solar industry for its long track record of high reliability and improved battery charging. In addition, this controller features a backlit remote display that can be mounted in or on a wall and shows digital and pictographic status information regarding the solar power system. The SunSaver Duo is encapsulated in epoxy and can be configured by the user via DIP switches or by connecting to a personal computer; it also includes an optional temperature sensor.
