Tigo TAP access point to TS4-A-O

The Tigo Access Point (tap) is a wireless communication device that revolutionizes the data management of your Solarasystem by enabling seamless communication with your solar modules and retrofit devices. However, this advancement goes far beyond mere data management, as the tap raises the level of security for deactivation at module level to a whole new level. In combination with a Cloud Connect Advanced (cca), the tap opens up further insights into your Solarasystem. This combination enables unprecedented control and convenient operation of the solar system.

The combination and mode of operation

1. The ts4-a-o is connected to each module
2. The Cloud Connect Advanced (cca) is the data center for ts4 modules and other devices such as inverters, batteries, etc. It connects to the tap via an RS485 cable, which communicates wirelessly with the ts4 modules.
3. All module-level data and all third-party data connected to the cca can be monitored in Tigo's Energy Intelligence monitoring platform.

The combination of these 3 components is a UL1741 certified photovoltaic rapid shutdown system (pvrss) that operates within a rapid shutdown time of 30 seconds. The cca data logger is powered by the same AC circuit as the rapid shutdown exciter (rsi). It sends a keep-alive signal to the ts4 via a wired connection to a tap and a wireless connection between the tap and the ts4 modules.
