The Tigo Access Point (TAP) is a wireless communication device that revolutionizes the data management of your solar system by enabling seamless communication with your solar modules and retrofit devices. The combination and how it works

1. The TS4-A-O is connected to each module
2.Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) is the data hub for TS4 modules and other devices such as inverters, batteries, etc. It connects to the TAP via an RS485 cable, which communicates wirelessly with the TS4 modules.
3.All module-level data and all third-party data connected to the CCA can be monitored in Tigo's Energy Intelligence monitoring platform.

The combination of these three components is a UL1741-certified photovoltaic rapid shutdown system (PVRSS) that operates within a rapid shutdown time of 30 seconds. The CCA data storage device is powered by the same AC circuit as the rapid shutdown initiator (RSI). It sends a keep-alive signal to the TS4 via a wired connection to a TAP and a wireless connection between the TAP and the TS4 modules.
