Efficient battery optimization
The advanced charging process of the charge controller using PWM is fully programmable and goes through three consecutive phases: constant current, constant voltage, and charge maintenance. In the constant current phase, the battery is charged with stable current, enabling rapid energy absorption. In the constant voltage phase, the voltage is maintained at a constant level to achieve optimum battery capacity. The charge maintenance phase ensures that the battery maintains its full state of charge without overcharging. Intelligent load control
Protect your battery from overcharging by connecting all loads to the load output. This automatically disconnects the loads as soon as the battery reaches a predefined voltage value. A separate interface cable may be required for this (see manual). The day/night time setting allows you to efficiently control your lighting or other loads after sunset. Pulse width modulation (PWM)
Pulse width modulation (PWM) is a method of regulating electrical power that is often used in charge controllers for solar modules. With PWM control, the voltage for charging the battery is supplied in the form of rapid switching pulses. During the charging process, the duration of these pulses is adjusted depending on the current battery voltage and charge. The lower the battery voltage, the longer the pulses are in order to charge the battery with a higher current. As soon as the battery voltage approaches the desired end-of-charge voltage, the pulses are shortened to gently maintain the battery at the desired state of charge. This enables efficient and precise charging of the battery and prevents overcharging.
