The Victron remote on-off cable (MPN MPN ASS030550100) is required for devices that are to be switched on and off via the remote control port and require a reverse signal voltage to switch on. In this case, it can be connected between the load output of the BlueSolar charge controllers and the Phoenix inverters up to 350W in order to control them remotely via the charge controller.
This is the case, for example, with the smaller inverters of the Phoenix series with a power rating of up to 350W. Due to the reverse voltage, the cable can be connected between the Victron BlueSolar MPPT series charge controllers and the Victron Phoenix inverters, for example. This allows you to switch the inverter on and off via the MPPT controller. However, this only works with models that also have a load output. In this configuration, the controller not only serves as an ON/OFF switch, but also as protection against deep discharge of the battery by the converter.
