Victron Lynx Distributor (M10)

The Lynx Distributor from Victron Energy (MPN: LYN060102010) is a modular DC busbar thatPart of your modular Lynx distribution system and has slots for up to four DC fuses. This busbar continuously monitors the status of each individual fuse and signals this via illuminated LEDs on the front. The 40 cm RJ10 cable included in the scope of delivery supplies it with power and allows it to connect to a Lynx Smart BMS 500 or Lynx Smart BMS 1000for further monitoring and communication, you can easily connect a Cerbo GX (also with GX Touch 50 or GX Touch 70 display panel), CCGX, or Venus GX. Up to 4 connected Lynx distributors can be monitored with one GX device.

Important note: Please note that the designation M10 refers to the connections on the busbars where the modules are connected to each other. In contrast, the connections for fuses and cables are always marked with M8.

Fuse detection

The distributor carefully monitors each individual fuse and detects when they have blown. If a fuse blows, the red fuse LED activates, the operating LED turns red, and an alarm message is sent to the connected Lynx Smart BMS. Fuse detection is possible for all fuses on the battery side as well as on the load or charging side. It is important to note that fuse detection has a special feature. If batteries are connected to multiple Lynx distribution circuits and a battery fuse blows, the fuse monitor will only trigger an alarm for the defective fuse when there is a sufficiently high voltage present at the fuse. This only happens after the battery has been charged or discharged.

The Lynx distribution system

The system is a modular busbar system that includes DC connections, distribution, fuses, battery monitoring, and/or functions for managing lithium batteries. It consists of the following components:

• Lynx Power In - Positive and negative busbars with four connections for batteries or DC devices
• Lynx Distributor - Positive and negative busbars with four fused connections for batteries or DC devices and fuse monitoring
• Lynx Shunt VE.Can - Positive busbar with space for main fuse, negative busbar with shunt for battery monitoring, features VE.Can communication for setup with GX device
• Lynx Smart BMS - For use with Victron Energy Lithium Battery Smart batteries, Bluetooth communication via VictronConnect app or with a GX device, available as a 500 A model with M8 busbars or a 1000 A model with M10 busbars

The VictronConnect app

The app is essential for setup and monitoring! The following connection options are available: Bluetooth / USB, via the optional interface / Remote control via a GX device and the VRM portal

The app is available for the following platforms: Android / Apple iOS (USB is not supported, only a Bluetooth connection is possible) / MacOS / Windows (Bluetooth is not supported, only a USB connection is possible)
