Victron VE.Bus Smart dongle

The VE.Bus Smart Dongle from Victron Energy (mpn ass030537010) combines two products in one: first, it allows you to pair Victron inverters/chargers with VE.Bus port to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth; second, it adds voltage and temperature sensing to these devices, which is especially useful when used with the Multiplus 2, as it does not have integrated terminals for voltage and temperature sensor wiring.

Use your VE.Bus products with the VictronConnect app

First, it is the Bluetooth accessory for our inverters / chargers: Multis, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros and our Phoenix Inverter series with VE.Bus connection. After installation, use the VictronConnect app to monitor operation and run the system: Change the input current limit and switch between Off, On, and Charger Only modes

Second, it adds voltage and temperature sensing to the inverters / chargers. Works with all models and is especially useful in combination with the MultiPlus-II as it has no built-in terminals for voltage and temperature sensor wiring

For monitoring, the device is a good alternative in caravans, smaller yachts and motorhomes, for which the Color Control gx or Venus gx are an uneconomical or simply not wanted or because it is simply more convenient to quickly retrieve the desired information via smartphone
