The vE.Bus bms from victron Energy (mpn) is a battery management system perfectly designed for victrons lithium batteries with vE.Bus connection, but can also work with equivalent batteries from other manufacturers. Each individual cell of a LiFePO4 battery must be protected against overvoltage, undervoltage and overtemperature. This is exactly the task performed by the ve.bus bms. The product is suitable for protecting 12v, 24v and 48v battery banks and operates over an operating voltage range of 9 - 70 vDC. vE-BUS bms in interaction with victrons LiFePO4 batteries victron LiFePO4 batteries have built-in cell balancing, temperature and voltage control (English abbreviation: btv) They are connected to the vE.Bus bms via two m8 circular connector cable sets. The BTvs of several batteries can be daisy-chained together. Up to five batteries can be connected in parallel and up to four batteries in series (BTvs are simply daisy-chained), so that a 48 v battery bank with up to 1500 Ah can be assembled.
