Two battery charging outputs

The Votronic 1718 MPP 260 CI solar charge controller features two battery charging outputs that enable automatic charging of the main supply battery (12V), as well as trickle charging and trickle maintenance (max. 1 A) for the vehicle starter battery (Start) with built-in overcharge protection.

IU1oU2 charging characteristic

The "IU1oU2" charging characteristic of the Votronic MPP 260 CI solar charge controller prevents harmful acid stratification in lead-acid batteries through a defined increase in charging voltage (U1) and ensures equalization charging of the individual battery cells (lead and lithium), followed by an automatic float charge (U2)

"AES" Switching Output

The "AES" switching output enables refrigerators equipped with "AES" (Automatic Energy Selector, Electrolux/Dometic) to automatically switch from gas to 12 V operation when there is a sustained solar power surplus.
