With the Offgridtec solar system (MPN: 025099), you can generate your own solar power and store excess energy for later use. Depending on the model you choose, the kit includes two or four Trina Solar Vertex S+ double-glass solar modules, each with a power output of 470 Wp, a matching Hoymiles microinverter, and three to six Hoymiles HiBattery HB-1920-AC-SV AC storage units, each with a capacity of 1920 Wh.
This gives the system a PV module output of 940 or 1,880 Wp and a total storage capacity of 5.76 to 11.52 kWh. The Hoymiles HiBattery supports the on-demand storage and use of solar energy. In self-consumption mode, stored electricity can be made available to the household even outside of daylight hours. The Time-of-Use (TOU) mode also enables time-dependent charging and discharging control, for example, to take advantage of suitable electricity rates.
The combination of modern double-glass solar modules, a matching microinverter, and multiple AC storage units allows for flexible adaptation to individual energy needs. The HiBattery uses passive cooling and features integrated protection functions.
Important installation note: This kit uses three to six AC storage units. According to the specified system requirements, a maximum of two batteries may be operated per house phase. The storage units must therefore be distributed across multiple house phases. The electrical installation and integration must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. This applies in particular to the version with the Hoymiles HMS-1600-4T and 1600VA rated output power.

Important Notes on Installing 3 to 6 Batteries
The Hoymiles HiBattery HB-1920-AC-SV allows for the combination of multiple AC storage units. With this set of three to six batteries, the specifications regarding phase distribution and the integration of the microinverter must be observed.
- A maximum of two batteries can be stacked to form a tower.
- Starting with the third battery, distribution to an additional house phase is required.
- A maximum of two batteries is allowed per phase.
- With a suitable three-phase home electrical system, a total of up to six batteries can be arranged in three stacks of two.
- Starting with three batteries, the off-grid port for the microinverter is deactivated in accordance with the specified system requirements. The microinverter must then be connected directly to the home electrical system.
- For Hoymiles microinverters without integrated Wi-Fi, a compatible DTU-Lite-S or DTU-Pro-S is required for data transmission.
Please note: The expansion and connection options listed above require a suitable electrical installation and compatibility of the components used. The specific phase distribution and electrical integration must be verified prior to installation based on the current Hoymiles manufacturer specifications.

Installation and Operation Instructions
The solar modules must be mounted using a suitable, stable mounting system. The connection type, circuit protection, and registration of the system depend on the selected configuration and applicable regulations.
For this kit with three to six Hoymiles HiBattery storage units, the storage units must be properly distributed across multiple phases of the home’s electrical system. The specific connection configuration must be verified by a qualified electrician prior to installation. In particular, the manufacturer’s current specifications regarding the number of batteries per phase and the integration of the microinverter must be observed.
For systems with three or more batteries, the off-grid port for the microinverter is not available in accordance with the specified system requirements. Therefore, power supply during a power outage cannot be assumed as a general rule. The system is not automatically suitable as an emergency power supply for the entire household.
