The Offgridtec MPPT Pro-Duo (MPN 1-01-011200) is an innovative high-end solar controller that was essentially designed for mobile applications. A variety of different board battery types can be charged via the primary charging output (BATT-1). The battery spectrum ranges from AGM, GEL and liquid lead acid to state-of-the-art LiFePO4 and Li-NiCoMn battery systems. The secondary battery charge output (BATT-2) is designed for a starter battery that is at the same voltage level as BATT-1. Intelligent energy saver
If there is no manual operation for an extended period of time and charging conditions are not present, the MPPT-Pro Duo will switch to energy saving mode, reducing the unit's energy consumption to a minimum. This behaviour also reduces wear and tear on the unit, which is reflected in a significantly longer service life. The system parameters are displayed and set directly via the intuitive control panel on the controller or via the MT11 remote control (accessory).
System communication and protection functions

The connection kit included in the scope of delivery offers everything needed for a quick start-up of the mobile solar set. Each fsp-2 has a 6.0m connection cable, which is equipped with a high-quality Anderson connector at the end. Matching to this, a second 0.5m connection cable is included, which is screwed directly to the solar input of the charge controller, and is also equipped with an Anderson connector on the other side. So you can quickly connect or disconnect the controller at any time via the Anderson connectors without having to unscrew the cables from the charge controller.
For the connection of the charge controller to your battery, a 1 meter long plug & play connection cable is also included. This is screwed to the battery input of the controller and is equipped with universal crocodile clips on the battery side, which can be conveniently connected to all common battery terminals. This interconnect cable from Victron Energy (mpn ass070200100) connects a non-VE.Bus bms (smart bms cl 12/100 or smallbms) to a MultiPlus (MultiPlus, MultiPlus Compact or MultiPlus-II). The cable turns off the MultiPlus once the bms has detected a low voltage, high voltage, or temperature alarm condition in the Victron lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) smart battery bank. Once the alarm condition is resolved, the bms will turn the MultiPlus back on.

The cable must be wired to the remote on/off connector on the MultiPlus models:
When used with MultiPlus 500va - 1200va models, connect the black wire to the ON terminal and the red wire to the (+) terminal
When used with MultiPlus Compact 800va - 2kVA models, connect the black wire to the center terminal and the red wire to the right (in) terminal
When used with MultiPlus II models, connect the black wire to the bottom (-) terminal and the red wire to the top (+) remote on-off terminal.
Both the load/charge disconnect outputs of the smart bms cl 12/100 and the load/charge disconnect outputs of the smallbms must be in the 'high' state for the MultiPlus to operate. After shutdown due to low battery voltage, run the alternator or use a battery charger on the primary side of the bms to reset the system. The MultiPlus will then turn on and begin charging (if connected to an AC power source).
