The Gemini from go-e (MPN: CH-04-11-51) is a smart, stationary wallbox with a charging capacity of 11 kW. The charger is quick and easy to install, depending on your home’s electrical system. Attach the wall mounting plate, hang the wallbox, and connect it to the appropriate power source. Charging is just as simple as charging a smartphone. Plug in the Type 2 cable, and the go-e charger automatically charges at the power level requested by the car. If needed, you can easily adjust the charging current using the push button directly on the device or via your app. An electrician can easily connect it to an existing junction box.

With the go-e charging station and its smart charging timer feature, you can schedule your charging sessions for times when electricity is abundant. Your Safety and Protection Features

If necessary, the charging station automatically reduces the current flow (static/dynamic load management—only with the go-e controller) or shuts down completely in the event of fault currents. This protects your car, your home’s electrical system, and the wallbox itself from damage. It features a DC protection module that safeguards your home’s electrical system against potential DC fault currents that could be caused by an electric car. On the building side, a Type A ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) and a circuit breaker should be installed.
