Growatt’s ARK high-voltage storage system offers flexible deployment thanks to its modular design and can be expanded as needed. A battery tower can be constructed using a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 ARK high-voltage batteries. A BMS control unit and a set of connection cables are included for commissioning with a compatible inverter. The battery base for ground installation is also available. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can also be easily combined with it.

ARK 2.5H-A2 High-Voltage Battery
The Growatt ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery (MPN ARK-2.5H-A2) is a LiFePO4 storage unit with high cycle stability and a long service life. The modular, stackable design allows for flexible application in various scenarios and is easy to install. The battery delivers outstanding performance under heavy loads and, with its IP65 rating, is also suitable for outdoor installation. Soft start technology is used to prevent overvoltage in the system. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can also be easily combined with it.

Soft start to protect the system
The soft-start mechanism is a protective feature used in the Growatt battery to protect the system from overvoltage. When starting or switching on the battery, the power supply is gradually increased to prevent damage to the system that could be caused by a sudden voltage spike. This ensures smooth and safe operation of the battery system.

Thanks to their extremely high cycle life and the use of LiFePo4 cells, Growatt ARK battery modules are an ideal storage solution for photovoltaic systems. BMS Control Unit
The Growatt HVC-60050-C2 BMS is a central monitoring and control unit that is part of the ARK HV high-voltage battery system and supports communication with the Growatt SPA and SPH inverters. Up to 10 battery modules, each with a capacity of 2.56 kWh, can be connected to this BMS. These modules can be connected in series to form a battery tower with a total capacity of up to 25.64 kWh. Storage towers can also be connected to each other, with one BMS required per tower.

BMS Control Parameters
Control parameters include state of charge (SOC), grid voltage, current, cell voltage, cell temperature, and PCBA temperature measurement. By precisely monitoring these parameters, the BMS ensures optimal battery performance and longevity.
Flexible Expansion
The ARK battery system from Growatt offers high flexibility thanks to its scalable configuration options, ranging from 2.56 kWh to 25.6 kWh. Installation and expansion of the system are simple and straightforward thanks to its modular design and the use of cables. Another innovation of the ARK system is that, unlike other battery systems, no battery cabinet is required. Only a battery base is needed to ensure stability.

ARK battery base
