Flexible control of solar energy and battery storage

Various operating modes are available for the demand-based use of solar energy and battery storage. In self-consumption mode, the generated PV energy is primarily used for connected loads, and any excess energy is then stored in the battery storage system. Other modes allow, among other things, for limiting grid draw peaks via peak shaving or time-dependent control of charging and discharging processes via Time of Use.

EPS Supply with Short Switching Time

Via the separate three-phase EPS output, the HIT-15L-G3 provides a rated power of 15,000 W. For short-term load peaks, up to 30,000 VA is possible for 10 seconds provided there is sufficient PV and battery power. With a switchover time of less than 10 ms, designated loads can continue to be powered with only a very brief interruption when the overall system is properly configured.

Unbalanced Operation in a Three-Phase System

The HIT-15L-G3 supports a 100% unbalanced output, thereby enabling the supply of phases with different load levels. A single phase can be loaded with up to 50% of the rated power, allowing the inverter to flexibly adapt to the load distribution in the three-phase system.

Monitoring and Compact Design

The S-Miles Cloud allows for convenient remote monitoring and analysis of the PV and storage system’s operating data. The inverter is designed for wall mounting and uses intelligent fan cooling for heat dissipation.
