The 30W Offgridtec OLP V2 (MPN: 018470) combines an overlapping wafer design with advanced PERC technology. Due to its small size, this module is extremely practical and perfect for 12V applications with limited space, such as portable solar chargers, small RV or boat systems, and similar applications that require a compact but powerful energy source.
It is the improved version of the popular OLP 30W 12V solar module (MPN 3-01-012505). The higher short-circuit current increases the overall performance of the module. In addition, the higher module voltage contributes significantly to increased performance. The new version of the solar modules is equipped with both improved solar cells and 11 busbars, which leads to improved light absorption and reduces the effect of partial shading.

Overlapping design
The overlapping in the wafer design of monocrystalline solar modules is crucial for their exceptionally high module efficiency. It enables more precise use of the available surface area, minimizes power losses through reduced line resistance, and limits material losses during production. The targeted arrangement of the wafers effectively minimizes gaps between them, thereby increasing power density and optimizing the overall efficiency of the modules. Innovative PERC technology
PERC technology is an essential component of Offgridtec OLP solar modules, increasing the efficiency of the solar cells. It uses a dielectric layer that is perforated with tiny holes using a laser to reflect light back into the cell. This creates an additional opportunity for photons to generate electricity. This technology improves efficiency across different light wavelengths, increases the chances for electrons to generate electricity, and helps to reduce overall costs and maximize energy yield per unit area.
