Offgridtec® OLP 30w V2 Solar Panel 23V Shingle Technology PERC

The 30w Offgridtec olp v2 (mpn 018470) combines an overlapping wafer design with advanced PERC technology. Due to its small size, this module is extremely practical and perfect for 12v applications with limited space such as portable solar chargers, small RV or boat installations and similar applications that require a compact but powerful energy source.

This is the improved version of the popular olp 30w 12v solar module (mpn 3-01-012505) and the higher short circuit current boosts the overall performance of the module. In addition, the higher module voltage contributes significantly to the increased performance. In the new version, the solar modules are equipped with both improved solar cells and 11 busbars, which leads to improved light absorption and reduces the effect of partial shading.

Overlapping design

The targeted arrangement of the wafers effectively minimizes empty spaces between them, thereby increasing the power density and optimizing the overall efficiency of the modules. Innovative PERC technology

PERC technology is an essential component of Offgridtec olp solar modules that increases the efficiency of the solar cells. It uses a dielectric layer that is lasered with tiny holes to reflect light back into the cell. This creates an additional opportunity for photons to generate electricity. This technology improves efficiency across different wavelengths of light, increases the opportunities for electrons to generate electricity and helps to reduce overall costs and maximize energy yield per unit area.
