Lightweight version of the cable roof gland with a single inlet, available in black. Made of durable ABS plastic and equipped with an IP68 screw-type seal. These glands are designed for use in mobile applications on cars, RVs, or boats. The ideal gland for cables that are not subject to further mechanical stress and that will never need to be accessed (for maintenance or cleaning, etc.).
The roof grommet is suitable for cables with an outer diameter of 3–12 mm. No specific cable cross-section can be specified, as the thickness of the cable insulation may vary.
When the roof grommet is properly installed, it provides, in combination with the PEG screw-on fittings, solid protection against moisture and dust ingress. The screw-on fittings meet IP68 protection standards and are included in the package.
We recommend Sika Body Adhesive 252 as the adhesive. (Not included.)
