MobileBlack XL Caravan Complete System

This complete system contains everything you need to charge your batteries on the go. The dual controller included in the set allows you to charge your on-board battery and the starter battery at the same time, as it has a corresponding auxiliary charging output. The scope of delivery includes comprehensive information material explaining the installation and connection step by step – this applies to both the technical connection and the bonding of the retaining spoilers and the roof feed-through. The roof feed-through is probably one of the most critical points, as this is where the transition to the interior of the motorhome takes place. The feed-through is made of the same material as the spoilers – the PEG screw connection complies with protection class IP68 and is therefore completely watertight when installed correctly.

The Offgridtec® MPPT Pro Duo 30A solar charge controller

The MPPT Pro Duo controller can handle a maximum charging current of 30A. This means that this system can theoretically be expanded to just under 400W of solar module power—however, taking into account the module selection (expansion only with identical panels), an expansion of a maximum of 1 module would probably make the most sense for this systemthe device also has a secondary charging output, which can be used to charge the starter battery in parallel with the on-board battery during longer periods of inactivity – a feature that is certainly very much appreciated in a mobile home. To ensure optimum efficiency, the device also has an AES switching output, which enables refrigerators with "AES" to automatically switch from gas to 12V operation when there is excess solar power.

The professional solar mounting system

Spoiler profiles are the first choice, especially for caravans and motorhomes, when it comes to clean mounting of solar modules. If the modules are mounted in the direction of travel, wind noise is no longer an issue (this also applies to alcove vehicles). Thanks to the closed design of the spoilers, no branches or similar objects can get caught under the solar modules.
Spoiler dimensions: L x W x H: 68 cm x 8.9 cm (of which approx. 3 cm is the module contact surface per spoiler) x 6.5 cm.

Adhesion

When used in harsh motorhome or boat conditions, a properly executed adhesive bond is superior to any screw connection. On painted or GRP surfaces, a strength of over 4 N/mm² can be achieved, which, calculated on the basis of the adhesive surface, is a value that would never be achievable with a screw connection in the thin aluminum or GRP carrier layer. This adhesive set enables even a layman to create an absolutely secure connection between spoilers and the respective substrate.

The Dekalin adhesive set contains all the components needed to enable even DIY enthusiasts to create a professional connection. Stainless steel screws for attaching the solar modules are included, as are detailed adhesive instructions. All you need in addition is a standard hand lever press for cartridges and a lint-free cloth.

The ABS mounting profiles

Cable entries from the roof into the interior are always quite tricky, as it must be ensured that everything is absolutely watertight and remains so even after many years.

Even the smallest amount of water ingress can often cause irreparable damage to the interior insulation and furnishings. This is especially true since moisture is often only noticed at a fairly late stage. This is why the roof feed-throughs were developed: The housings are made of the same UV- and weather-resistant material as the mounting brackets offered in the online shop. They are extremely stable and absolutely slip-resistant. The wide adhesive edge ensures optimal sealing. The penetrations are glued using the adhesive set that you also use to glue the solar mounting brackets. The housings can also be painted as desired and thus adapted to the surface on which they are to be installed

The professional cabling set

All necessary cables are delivered plug & play and are already pre-crimped with specialist tools. This means you do not need to purchase special pliers for the MC-4 connectors.
