The Pylontech PowerCube H1 High-Voltage Storage Kit (MPN: 024922) combines five to ten H48050 battery modules with an SC1000-100S control unit to form a modular LiFePO4 storage system. Depending on the number of modules selected, 12 to 24 kWh of rated energy and a system rated voltage of 240 to 480 V DC are available. The control unit monitors the battery tower, coordinates protection functions, and establishes communication with a compatible inverter or PCS.

H48050 battery modules connected in series
Each H48050 module has a rated energy of 2.4 kWh, a rated voltage of 48 V, and a rated capacity of 50 Ah. In the PowerCube-H1 system, the selected modules are connected in series. As a result, the system voltage increases by 48 V with each additional module, while the rated capacity of the battery tower remains at 50 Ah. The modular design allows the storage capacity to be selected according to the intended system. Only approved components from the same system family and suitable, compatible modules may be used for the configuration.
Control and Monitoring with the SC1000-100S
The SC1000-100S serves as the battery tower’s central control and communication unit. It collects operating data from the connected modules and coordinates, among other things, cell balancing, charge and discharge authorizations, temperature monitoring, and protective responses in the event of improper operating conditions. A CAN interface is available for connection to an approved inverter or power conversion system. Modbus RTU is used for integration into the system communication. To ensure proper communication, the inverter model, firmware version, communication protocol, and selected number of modules must match the respective Pylontech approval.
Compatibility and Installation
The PowerCube H1 is a high-voltage storage system. Installation, high-voltage cabling, grounding, configuration, and commissioning may only be performed by appropriately qualified personnel and in accordance with the applicable Pylontech documentation. The inverter must support the voltage range of the selected variant and be approved for use with the PowerCube H1 system featuring the H48050 and SC1000-100S. The mechanical ability to connect alone does not confirm system compatibility. The permissible number of modules may also depend on the inverter used and its firmware. The components have an IP20 protection rating and are intended for protected installation. A rack or battery cabinet, an inverter, and other installation accessories are not included in the kit listed above.
