The inverter in the grid-connected system
The inverter is an indispensable component of your PV system. It efficiently converts the direct current generated by the solar modules into usable alternating current, as required in households and businesses. With its three-phase, transformerless design, it ensures stable and powerful energy conversion. The direct current (DC) generated is efficiently converted into grid-compliant alternating current (AC) and fed directly into the public power grid. Additional safety is provided by integrated overvoltage protection on the AC and DC sides, which reliably protects your system from damage caused by lightning strikes or voltage spikes.
150% PV oversizing, 110% output overload
Oversizing allows you to connect solar modules with up to 1.5 times more power than the rated power of the inverter. This means you can achieve a higher electricity yield even when there is little sun. Thanks to output overload, the inverter can briefly deliver more power than its rated power, allowing you to make optimal use of power peaks.
Options for parallel connection
With the Solax Datahub, you can connect several series inverters in one system and thus flexibly expand the output of your photovoltaic system. The Datahub supports up to 60 inverters in parallel operation. Thanks to an integrated electricity meter in the main circuit, zero feed-in is also possible. This ensures that no excess electricity is fed into the public grid. In this system, it takes over central control and communicates reliably with all connected inverters.
Possible areas of application
- Commercial photovoltaic systems
- Charging station infrastructure
- Industrial companies
- Grid-parallel operation and self-consumption optimization
- Off-grid and hybrid systems
Reactive power compensation
Reactive power compensation during nighttime operation ensures that your inverter contributes to the stability of the power grid even at night when no solar power is being generated. It can feed special electrical energy, known as reactive power, into the grid or absorb it. This function is important to ensure that the power grid operates reliably and that all requirements of the grid operator are met. This means that your system is optimally equipped for current and future grid requirements.
I-U characteristic curve diagnosis
This ensures that your inverter regularly checks how much electricity your solar modules generate at different voltages. This allows the system to detect early on if individual modules are delivering less power, for example due to dirt, aging, or technical problems. You receive timely notifications in the event of malfunctions and can react quickly. This ensures that everything remains efficient and reliable in the long term.
Integrated export power control function
You can specify exactly how much electricity from your system is fed into the public grid. You have the option of completely preventing feed-in (zero feed-in) or limiting it to a certain value. The inverter automatically takes over this control and continuously adjusts the feed-in to your specifications. This allows you to easily meet the requirements of your grid operator and optimize your own consumption in a targeted manner—without any additional accessories.

Arc fault detection (AFCI)
If your PV modules, connectors, or cables are incorrectly installed or damaged, arcs can occur, which can cause fires. To quickly prevent such fires, SolaX has developed optional arc detection. This feature can be installed and provides a higher level of safety for you and your PV system.
SolaXCloud
SolaXCloud is an intelligent platform for managing your home energy. It provides you with a clear overview of your energy consumption and power generation, as well as easy control of all connected devices. This allows you to optimize the efficiency of your power consumption and get the most out of your solar system. Your data is transmitted securely and reliably at all times. With the Monitoring Cloud app, you can conveniently monitor your photovoltaic system via Wi-Fi, LAN, or 4G. You can view alarms, adjust settings, and control maintenance. To do this, plug the dongle into the USB port of the inverter. Once switched on, you can connect to the app immediately. You will find the QR code for downloading the app in the user manual.
