Victron Lynx Smart BMS 1000 Battery Management System

The Lynx Smart BMS 1000 from Victron Energy (MPN: LYN034170210) is a special battery management system for Victron lithium smart batteries. Compared to all other BMS devices, the Lynx Smart is the most feature-rich and comprehensive option available to you. It makes monitoring and communicating with your Lynx distribution system easy and effortless. For local or remote monitoring, you also have the option of using GX devices, such as the Cerbo GX or the Ekrano GX.

The Lynx distribution system

The Lynx Distribution System is a modular busbar system that includes DC connections, distribution, fusing, battery monitoring, and/or lithium battery management.
The Lynx Distribution System consists of the following parts:

• Lynx Power In - A positive and negative busbar with 4 connections for batteries or DC devices
• Lynx Distributor - A positive and negative busbar with 4 fused connections for batteries or DC devices, together with fuse monitoring
• Lynx Shunt VE.Can - A positive busbar with space for a main system fuse and a negative busbar with a shunt for battery monitoring. It features VE.Can communication for monitoring and setup in a GX device
• Lynx Smart BMS - For use with Victron Energy Smart Lithium batteries. It includes a positive busbar with a circuit breaker powered by a battery management system and a negative busbar with a shunt for battery monitoring. It features Bluetooth communication for monitoring and setup via the VictronConnect app and VE.Can communication for monitoring with a GX device and the VRM portal.

Programmable relay

The relay can be used either as an alarm relay (in conjunction with the pre-alarm) or to control an alternator via your external regulator (ignition cable). In ATC mode of the alternator, the relay is only activated when the contactor is closed. In this process, the alternator's ATC contact opens first, followed by a 2-second delay before the contactor opens. These 2 seconds ensure that the alternator is switched off before the battery is disconnected from the system.

The VictronConnect app

The app is essential for setup and monitoring! The following connection options are available: Bluetooth/USB, via the optional interface/remote control via a GX device and the VRM portal

The app is available for the following platforms: Android / Apple iOS (USB is not supported, only a Bluetooth connection is possible) / MacOS / Windows (Bluetooth is not supported, only a USB connection is possible)
