Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 30A 12V 24V solar charge controller

The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 30A 12V/24V solar charge controller (MPN SCC110030210) is the new version of the BlueSolar 100/30. The main difference between the Smart version and the Blue version is the integrated Bluetooth communication module. This allows the SmartSolar charge controller to be fully monitored and analyzed on any app-enabled device. The Victron Connect app required for this can be installed free of charge. The optional MPPT WireBox-M from Victron Energy is the ideal addition to your SmartSolar charge controller. It securely covers the cable entries and connection terminals of the controller, protecting them from external influences and contact.

Compared to the 75/10, 75/15, and 100/15 models, the SmartSolar 100/30 MPPT has overheating protection with a shutdown function and automatic restart after reaching a normal operating temperature.

VE.Direct data communication port

VE.Direct in text mode transmits all important parameters to other devices connected to the charge controller every second, thus offering the possibility of communication with additional devices such as Victron's GX Color Control Panel. The VE.Direct connection is intended for products where full Canbus integration (VE-Direct) would incur excessive costs.

Especially when the sky is overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. Options for programming, real-time data, and history display

Modern Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, Macbooks, and other devices can be connected via the integrated Bluetooth Smart Dongles and the MPPT app or GX Color Control, for example. Please note that Bluetooth Smart Dongles and GX Color Control are separate items that are not included with the charge controller but can be purchased from us as optional extras.
