The Offgridtec MPPT Pro-Duo (MPN 1-01-011200) is an innovative high-end solar controller that was essentially designed for mobile applications. A variety of different board battery types can be charged via the primary charging output (BATT-1). The battery spectrum ranges from AGM, GEL and liquid lead acid to state-of-the-art LiFePO4 and Li-NiCoMn battery systems. The secondary battery charge output (BATT-2) is designed for a starter battery that is at the same voltage level as BATT-1. Intelligent energy saver
If there is no manual operation for an extended period of time and charging conditions are not present, the MPPT-Pro Duo will switch to energy saving mode, reducing the unit's energy consumption to a minimum. This behaviour also reduces wear and tear on the unit, which is reflected in a significantly longer service life. The system parameters are displayed and set directly via the intuitive control panel on the controller or via the MT11 remote control (accessory).
System communication and protection functions

The connection kit included in the scope of delivery offers everything needed for a quick start-up of the mobile solar set. Each fsp-2 has a 6.0m connection cable, which is equipped with a high-quality Anderson connector at the end. Matching to this, a second 0.5m connection cable is included, which is screwed directly to the solar input of the charge controller, and is also equipped with an Anderson connector on the other side. So you can quickly connect or disconnect the controller at any time via the Anderson connectors without having to unscrew the cables from the charge controller.
For the connection of the charge controller to your battery, a 1 meter long plug & play connection cable is also included. This is screwed to the battery input of the controller and is equipped with universal crocodile clips on the battery side, which can be conveniently connected to all common battery terminals. The Victron VE.Direct TX Digital Output cable (MPN ASS03055050) can be used in combination with SmartSolar or BlueSolar MPPT solar chargers. The cable is connected between the VE.Direct port of the solar charger and an LED driver, BatteryProtect or energy meter. With the cable, energy consumption and system costs can be significantly reduced by dimming the output of your lighting either brighter or darker depending on the ambient brightness.
The VE.Direct TX cable optimises energy consumption in solar lighting applications by dimming lamps and enables the control of a BatteryProtect or relay for a virtual load output for solar chargers without their own output. It also transmits pulses to an energy meter when 0.01 kWh of solar power is generated. The versatile cable also adds a load output to larger solar chargers, improves operating costs and increases light availability, even when the battery is partially charged due to unfavourable weather conditions.
