PV subsidies in Austria 2025: Secure up to €8,000,000 now
On October 8, 2025, the final funding round for photovoltaic systems and electricity storage begins in Austria. A total of eight million euros in funding is available - provided by the Austrian government through the EAG Processing Agency (Renewable Energy Expansion Act).
Funding is available for new or expanded PV systems as well as battery storage installed together with a system. Standalone storage without new photovoltaic expansion is not eligible for funding in this round.
Funding rates at a glance:
» Up to 10 kWp: 160 € per kWp
» 10–20 kWp: 150 € per kWp
» 20–100 kWp: 140 € per kWp
» Over 100 kWp: 130 € per kWp
» For storage: 150 € per installed kWh
10% bonus for "Made in Europe" components
Those who choose photovoltaic components or storage manufactured in Europe for their system can receive a 10% bonus on the funding rate. The EAG publishes current whitelists with eligible modules, inverters, and storage systems.
In this way, Austria specifically supports regional value creation, climate protection, and security of supply.
Deadlines and application
The funding call runs from October 8 to 22, 2025.
Since funds were quickly exhausted in previous rounds, a quick application through the EAG platform is worthwhile.
Note from Offgridtec
Offgridtec is not itself a funding provider, but supports interested parties with a large selection of photovoltaic components and storage systems that are ideal for funding - including many products "Made in Europe".
