Offgridtec Backup Kit 4.8kWh Pylontech LiFePo4 Battery - Victron MultiPlus II 48/3000 Inverter 1-Phase

Offgridtec’s backup systems are ideal for emergency power supply or for expanding an existing solar system. In addition to lithium-ion batteries from Pylontech, the systems include a compatible MultiPlus-II inverter and a Cerbo GX MK2 from Victron Energy for system monitoring. This allows you to ensure your power supply even in the event of a power outage.

Thanks to the UPS function, the MultiPlus-II remains powered on even during a grid failure and takes over powering the connected loads. The switchover occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.

Expanded use of your backup system

To set up an ESS (Energy Storage System) with the backup system, an energy meter with a connection cable is required:

• Victron VM-3P75CT Energy Meter 3-phase power meter 75A/phase
• 5m Victron RJ45 UTP cable

With this energy meter, you can perform a grid-parallel installation and subsequently monitor your energy consumption or control your energy costs. Thanks to phase compensation, you can also operate the 3-phase meter for 1-phase systems. This ensures seamless integration of decentralized energy sources and consumers into the existing power grid.

To ensure an ESS can be included in the pre-configuration, the meter must be purchased in advance or as part of the system!

This extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 50A and broadens the potential application range to energy storage system applications.
