The Offgridtec® HomePremium Series is a true all-rounder offering unbeatable value for money. In addition to serving as a UPS backup solution with a choice between grid priority and battery priority, this PV system works just as well as a self-consumption system. There are virtually no limits to the performance of this solar system—depending on your personal needs and upon request, expansions are possible for both modules and batteries. If a higher output power is required at the inverter, additional identical units can also be connected to increase power.

In addition to the power electronics, the storage unit, and the solar modules, all components required for connection are also included in the scope of delivery, with the exception of the solar module mounts, which must be ordered separately. Depending on your selection, the complete set is delivered with or without an electricity meter. The system is not preconfigured when shipped to you.

Expanded use of your HomePremium system

The HomePremium system is available with or without a Victron energy meter and cable; however, an energy meter with a connection cable is required for setting up an energy storage system.

With this electricity meter, you can set up a grid-connected installation and then monitor your energy consumption or keep track of your energy costs. Thanks to phase compensation, you can even use the 3-phase meter for 1-phase systems. This makes seamless integration of decentralized energy sources and consumers into the existing power grid a breeze.

Luxen Solar 450W Full Black Solar Module

The bifacial 450W Full Black solar module from Luxen Solar’s Luxneri N5 series (MPN LNDX-450ND) sets new standards in solar technology. It combines innovative technologies such as LECO N-TOPCon cell technology and a 96-cell half-cut layout to maximize efficiency. It also utilizes SMBB half-cut cell technology, which helps optimize performance.

Half-cell technology

In half-cell technology ("Half-Cut"), conventional silicon cells are cut in half using a laser. The resulting halves are then connected in parallel in the center, which increases the solar module’s output by reducing resistance losses

LiFePo4 storage technology from Pylontech – proven, reliable, safe

The US5000 storage battery from Pylontech used here is a latest-generation lithium iron phosphate battery. This modular system guarantees the longest possible service life with maximum safety. Each module contains a battery management system (BMS) that provides comprehensive protection against overcharging, as well as damage caused by excessive currents or temperatures that are too high or too low. It also prevents battery failure due to short circuits or reverse polarity.

The heart of the system – the Victron MultiPlus-II 48/3000

The Multiplus-II 48/3000/70-50 from Victron Energy (MPN PMP482305010) combines classic Multiplus components with an external current sensor and integrated anti-islanding function. This extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 100A, enabling use in ESS applications.

Maximum flexibility thanks to two AC outputs

The MultiPlus-II provides uninterrupted operation by automatically taking over the power supply to loads in the event of grid failures or interruptions in shore/generator power. The switchover occurs in less than 20 milliseconds to ensure continuous operation of electronic devices. A second output supplies power only when AC power is present at the MultiPlus-II input. This allows for the connection of loads such as a water heater that should not be discharged by the battery.

Configuration

The MultiPlus-II is shipped unconfigured by default. You can find the system configuration guide here in the download section. If you would like us to pre-configure the system for you, we are happy to do so for an additional fee. In this case, shipping may take 3–5 business days longer until the configuration has been completed.

The latest development in system monitoring from Victron Energy allows you to easily control and configure your system. Complemented by the GX Touch 50—a waterproof 5-inch touchscreen—you can always keep track of your system parameters. The Cerbo’s features not only allow for perfect control and monitoring of the system but also enable you to maximize system performance in an unprecedentedly simple way.

Victron Energy has developed a new system monitoring solution that allows you to easily control and configure your system. The GX Touch 50, a waterproof 5-inch touchscreen, provides a clear overview of your system parameters. With the Cerbo module, you can precisely monitor your system and maximize its performance. It is compatible with both solar charge controllers and grid-tied inverters. Mounting hardware and connection cables are included. The GX Touch 50’s Bluetooth functionality makes accessing your system even faster and easier. An optional wall mount is available.

Victron Remote Portal

The Victron Remote Portal (VRM) is a free Victron Energy service that allows you to remotely read your system’s data and configure the devices accordingly. This way, you always have full control and an overview of all relevant system parameters, even when you’re away.
