The Pytes V16 Lite LiFePO4 battery (MPN: 110402100209) is a low-voltage battery storage system with a storage capacity of 16.07 kWh, designed for residential and small-scale commercial energy storage systems. Thanks to long-lasting LiFePO4 cells, an integrated battery management system (BMS), Wi-Fi monitoring, and seamless communication with numerous inverter manufacturers, this storage system is suitable for both new installations and retrofitting existing PV systems. The battery can be mounted on the wall or placed on the floor and supports parallel connection of up to 16 units.

High storage capacity for self-consumption and emergency power systems

With a rated energy capacity of 16.07 kWh, the Pytes V16 Lite is suitable as a central energy storage system for single-family homes and smaller commercial applications. Excess solar power can be temporarily stored and used at a later time. This increases the self-consumption of the photovoltaic system and reduces dependence on the grid. The recommended charging and discharging power is 150 A and 7.68 kW, respectively. Short-term peaks of 200 A (10.24 kW for 180 seconds) and 300 A (15.36 kW for 15 seconds) are possible, ensuring a reliable power supply even for high-power loads.

Long-Lasting LiFePO4 Technology

The V16 Lite uses lithium iron phosphate cells (LiFePO4 or LFP). This cell chemistry is characterized by high thermal stability, a long service life, and low aging. At the same time, the integrated battery management system (BMS) ensures continuous monitoring of all cell parameters.

Among other things, the BMS protects against:

• Overcharging
• Deep discharge
• Overcurrent
• Short circuits
• Over- and under-temperature
• Reverse polarity of the power cables

In addition, it handles cell balancing, intelligent charge control, and continuous monitoring of the battery’s condition.

Flexible scalability

If energy demand increases, the storage system can be easily expanded. The Pytes V16 Lite supports parallel connection of up to 16 batteries. Communication takes place via the integrated LINK ports, while the connection to the inverter is established via either CAN or RS485. This makes the system suitable for both smaller and larger storage solutions.

Broad Inverter Compatibility

The battery supports closed-loop operation with more than 20 inverter manufacturers. The integrated DIP switch allows you to select the appropriate communication protocol for numerous manufacturers, including Deye, GoodWe, Growatt, Hoymiles, Luxpower, SMA, Solis, Solax, Sungrow, Victron, Voltronic, Studer, SRNE, TBB, Phocos, Megarevo, and others. This enables the battery to be integrated into many existing energy storage systems.

Convenient Monitoring via Wi-Fi

An integrated Wi-Fi module enables remote monitoring of the battery system. Using the RE+ app, you can view the state of charge, voltage, current, and other operating data, among other things. Additionally, firmware updates can be conveniently performed via Wi-Fi without having to manually connect the battery to a computer.

Flexible Installation

The Pytes V16 Lite can be installed either on the wall or on the floor. The necessary mounting hardware for both installation types is included in the package. Optionally, height-adjustable casters can be used, which makes positioning easier. With dimensions of 702.6 x 189.5 x 651.9 mm, the battery remains relatively compact. The enclosure has an IP20 rating and is intended for use in dry indoor environments.

Safety and Reliability

In addition to the integrated DC circuit breaker, the battery features a pre-charge circuit, a ground connection, and various communication interfaces. An integrated aerosol fire suppression module is available as an option. The battery operates within a temperature range of 0 to 55°C during charging and -20 to 55°C during discharging. A heating function for low ambient temperatures is also available as an option.
