PowerControll & PowerAssist

The maximum current that the grid or generator is allowed to supply can be set on the device combination. The device automatically takes all other connected loads into account and uses only the current that is still available to charge the battery. In this way, the PowerControl function reliably prevents overloading of the generator or grid connection. The PowerAssist function further extends this principle. The MultiPlus reliably protects limited AC sources such as generators or shore power connections from overload. First, if the load is too high, the charging current to the battery is automatically reduced. If that is not sufficient, it additionally supports the power source by feeding energy from the battery, thereby maintaining a stable supply.

Uninterrupted AC Power & Two AC Inputs

The main output ensures an uninterruptible power supply. If the utility grid fails or the shore power or on-board generator is interrupted, the MultiPlus inverter automatically and seamlessly takes over the power supply to all connected devices. The switchover occurs in less than 20 milliseconds, ensuring that computers and other sensitive electronic devices remain operational without interruption at all times. This combination is suitable for use in off-grid and grid-tied photovoltaic systems as well as in other alternative energy systems. It can be easily combined with solar charge controllers and grid-tied inverters. The second output only supplies power when AC power is actually present at the input. This output can be used to connect loads that should not drain the battery, such as a water heater.

Monitoring and Control

With a GX device like the Cerbo GX, you can monitor and control your MultiPlus and the entire system at any time. Either directly on-site via the local network or worldwide via the Internet. The free VRM app and the VRM portal offer you full flexibility. You can simply access it via smartphone, tablet, laptop, or PC, regardless of the operating system. This way, you have everything at a glance and can adjust numerous settings—from customizing your device configuration to automatically starting a backup generator and many other functions.
