The Offgridtec 010895 ETFE SPR-F-100 V2 120W is a semi-flexible high-performance solar cell that is ideally suited both as a solar module for motorhomes and specifically for marine use on sailing yachts, motor yachts, and other types of boats.

The module is ideally suited for 12V system voltages. The ETFE 120W 12V solar cell is semi-flexible and can also be walked on when mounted completely flat.

ETFE high-tech plastic solar glass combined with SPR high-performance cells

The front of the solar panel is covered with a high-tech plastic layer based on ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer ETFE – a Teflon derivative (PTFE) – which offers excellent protection against harmful environmental influences and is also suitable for use in salt water. ETFE is lighter and more translucent than other plastic solutions on the market. Together with the built-in SPR (Sunpower) high-performance cells manufactured in the US, these two components form an optimal basis for a premium marine solar panel.

Kann ich die Module mit dem Klebeband von 3M VHB Klebeband GPH-160GF auf dem Wohnmobildach befestigen?

Es sollte möglich sein die Module mit dem Klebeband zu befestigen. Zu beachten wäre die UV-Beständigkeit bei der Wahl des Klebebandes.
Für ein optimales Ergebnis empfehlen wir jedoch immer den Klebstoff DekaSyl MS-5.

Ist die ETFE-SPR-F V2 Serie auch für die Montage auf weichen, flexiblen Oberflächen wie z.B. dem Spayhood-Dach einer Segelyacht geeignet?

Hierzu sollten Sie definitiv eine separate Grundplatte z.B. aus Alu-Dibond verwenden.
Ohne zusätzliche Maßnahmen könnten Sie z.B. unsere PCB-ETFE oder ETFE-AL Serie verwenden.
