Why a string inverter?

The performance of solar modules varies depending on temperature, irradiation, and shading, which can lead to so-called mismatching losses. These losses occur when the performance of one panel in a string is lower than the others, resulting in lower power production for the entire string. A string inverter can reduce these losses.

Maximum Power Point Tracking

Maximum Power Point Tracking technology generates the best possible yield from a solar system. The MPPT of the MIC inverter establishes the optimal ratio between voltage and current throughout the day, depending on the solar radiation and the temperature of the solar modules. The large MPPT voltage range allows a large number of solar modules to be connected, enabling efficient energy yield. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partly cloudy and the light intensity is constantly changing.
