Support for microgrids and a wide range of scenarios

The air-cooled TRENE‑ESS can operate reliably both in conjunction with the public grid and as a separate island grid. The system can set up and maintain a local grid, adapt to existing grids, and start up independently after power outages. Typical applications include emergency power supply, peak shaving and load shifting, self-consumption optimization with PV, and buffering for charging infrastructure, construction sites, events, or remote locations. Your advantage: high supply security, lower energy costs, and a flexibly scalable solution for your specific application.

Advanced EMS

The system optimizes the storage strategy in real time using algorithms based on current electricity prices and load profiles. It automatically switches between self-consumption optimization, peak shaving, grid feed-in, and backup operation to maximize efficiency and yield. This allows you to reduce energy costs, make optimal use of time-variable tariffs, and shorten the payback period of your investment.

Grid-connected and off-grid support

It either works with the public grid or supplies you independently when needed. In grid operation, it optimizes self-consumption, smooths out power peaks, and takes advantage of dynamic tariffs. In the event of a grid failure or desired self-sufficiency, the system forms its own grid (voltage and frequency) and keeps critical consumers reliably in operation— depending on the configuration, even with automatic transition. This gives you maximum flexibility, high supply security, and economical operation.

Cell-level balancing & intelligent temperature control

Cell-level balancing – every single battery cell in the system is monitored and its state of charge is balanced. This ensures that all cells operate evenly, none are overcharged or undercharged, and you make optimal use of the available capacity. This ensures stable performance and protects the battery.
Intelligent temperature control - automatically regulates the operating temperature using multiple sensors and liquid cooling. Heat is dissipated evenly, hot spots are avoided, and the battery remains within its ideal temperature range. This allows you to charge and discharge more efficiently, increases safety, and extends the life of the system.

VPP-ready

This means that the device is prepared for integration into a virtual power plant (VPP). It digitally networks many decentralized energy sources, such as photovoltaic systems, battery storage, or flexible consumers, into a common, controllable network. This allows these systems to participate jointly in the energy market, provide balancing energy, or compensate for peak loads.

Protection and safety

Fire-retardant materials and a level 4 fire protection system detect potential electrical hazards at an early stage, automatically initiate countermeasures, and reliably keep any fires that do occur under control. This allows you to increase operational safety, minimize downtime, and protect your system, personnel, and the surrounding area.

SolaXCloud

SolaXCloud is an intelligent platform for managing your home energy. It provides you with a clear overview of your energy consumption and power generation, as well as easy control of all connected devices. This allows you to optimize the efficiency of your power consumption and get the most out of your solar system. Your data is transmitted securely and reliably at all times. With the Monitoring Cloud app, you can conveniently monitor your photovoltaic system via Wi-Fi, LAN, or 4G. You can view alarms, adjust settings, and control maintenance. To do this, plug the dongle into the USB port of the inverter. Once switched on, you can connect to the app immediately. You will find the QR code for downloading the app in the user manual.
