Seamless coordination of key functions

The sine wave inverter provides 230 V AC at 50 Hz during battery operation. The continuous output power is 4 kW at 25 °C, 3.7 kW at 40 °C, and 3 kW at 65 °C. For short-term loads, 4.5 kW is available for two hours or 6 kW for 25 minutes during a cold start. The peak power of 7 kW for one minute supports the operation of suitable loads with increased startup requirements. The charger charges appropriately configured 48-V batteries at up to 55 A. PowerControl limits the load on the AC input while simultaneously accounting for connected loads. PowerAssist supplements limited grid or generator power with energy from the battery as needed. If the load decreases, available input power can be reused to charge the battery.

GX Monitoring and System Communication

The integrated GX card consolidates operating data from the inverter, the battery, and connected components. An illuminated 2 x 16-character display shows key system parameters directly on the unit. The system can also be monitored locally via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, as well as through the Victron Remote Management Portal. BMS-CAN, USB, Ethernet, and VE.Direct are available for communication. The BMS-CAN connection is intended for compatible CAN-bus-controlled batteries operating at 500 kbit/s. It does not support VE.CAN devices. The battery, BMS, and charging parameters must therefore be suitable for the respective energy storage system and correctly configured.

Two AC Outputs and Flexible System Integration

AC-Out-1 supplies prioritized loads and can continue to power them from the battery if there is no AC input. The additional AC-Out-2 is active only when power is present at the AC input. This allows loads that are not intended to be powered by the battery to be disconnected. The MultiPlus-II GX can be combined with an external MPPT solar charge controller or a suitable PV inverter. A solar charge controller is not integrated. Via VE.Bus, the unit can also be integrated into professionally designed parallel or three-phase systems. Installation, configuration, and commissioning must be performed under the supervision of a suitably qualified professional and in accordance with applicable local regulations.
