The HBP-5.0 battery module from Haier (MPN: HBP-5.0) is a 5kWh storage unit with the latest LiFePO4 technology. The battery generates and uses surplus energy from your solar system so that you can efficiently reduce your electricity costs. The battery intercepts falling temperatures with its integrated heater, ensuring that you can always get the best performance from your system.the built-in gel pad as an extinguishing function and the attached pressure equalization valve, on the other hand, protect your system from overheating or fires. When expanding your system, the storage units offer you maximum flexibility. A tower consists of up to 6 modules, and you are free to choose how many 5kWh or compatible 8kWh batteries you want to use. You can connect a maximum of 20 towers, i.e. 120 batteries in parallel, which results in a total capacity of 960kWh.

Full control - even with temperature influences or overheating

The HBP-5.0 is fully temperature-monitored. For real emergencies, it has an integrated heater, which protects your battery in colder temperatures and keeps your system working perfectly. The extinguishing function, on the other hand, protects your Smart Cube from fires or overheating. Each module has a gel pad included, which opens automatically and can cool down the battery. Before this has to happen, however, the valves on the side of the device release the resulting heat pressure in a controlled manner. So you enjoy complete protection - don't worry and store the energy you have gained.

Different modes with the Smart Cube and the battery

AI mode - By analyzing your consumption patterns and local electricity prices over a certain period of time, the integrated AI can develop tailor-made electricity solutions for you. So you can maximize your savings.
Self-consumption mode - When the sun is shining, your PV system supplies your devices first. surpluses are stored in the battery and fed into the grid. When there is a lack of sunshine or in the evening, the batteries supply you with the electricity generated.
Full feed-in mode - During the day, the surplus electricity is stored when the PV system produces more energy than the inverter can process. At night and when there is little sun, the batteries supply the stored electricity so that the inverter delivers full power.

Time-controlled mode - Here you can set charging and discharging times in the Haier Smart Cube app. During the day, surplus electricity is sold to the grid or stored. At night, when electricity prices are low, the batteries are charged from the grid to save costs.

Easily expandable

The two Smart Cube battery modules with 5kWh and 8kWh can be combined with each other and expand your capacity many times over. Up to 6 batteries form a storage tower. From here, you have the option of connecting up to 20 towers in parallel to achieve a maximum total capacity of 960kWh. Thanks to the modular design, installation is quick and uncomplicated - you can simply stack the batteries on top of each other and thus expand them. No additional assembly is required.

Haier Smart Cube App

With the very clear Smart Cube app, you can monitor all devices in your system, make settings or better plan charging processes. The information is also displayed in real time so that you can carry out optimum configuration. It is also possible to query historical data with the app. With the AI suggestion, you can discover unimagined possibilities. It can of course be downloaded from the App Store for Apple or Google Play for Android devices. You can find more information in our appendices in the user manual.
