The HBP-8.0 battery module from Haier (MPN: HBP-8.0) is an 8kWh storage unit featuring the latest LiFePO4 technology. The battery generates and utilizes surplus energy from your solar system, allowing you to efficiently reduce your electricity costs. The battery compensates for falling temperatures with its integrated heating system, ensuring that you always get the best performance from your systemthe built-in gel pad acts as a fire extinguishing function, while the attached pressure equalization valve protects your system from overheating or fire. When expanding your system, the storage units offer you maximum flexibility. A tower consists of up to 6 modules, and you can choose how many 8kWh or compatible 5kWh batteries you want to use. You can connect a maximum of 20 towers, i.e., 120 batteries in parallel, resulting in a total capacity of 960kWh.

Full control—even in the event of temperature influences or overheating
The HBP-8.0 is subject to complete temperature monitoring. For real emergencies, it has an integrated heater that protects your battery in colder temperatures and keeps your system running smoothly. The shut-off function, on the other hand, protects your Smart Cube from fire or overheating. Each module has a gel pad that opens automatically and can cool down the battery. But before this happens, the valves on the side of the device release the heat pressure in a controlled manner. So you enjoy complete protection – don't worry and save your energy.
Different modes with the Smart Cube and the battery
AI mode – By analyzing your consumption patterns and local electricity prices over a certain period of time, the integrated AI can develop customized electricity solutions for you. This allows you to maximize your savings.
Self-consumption mode – When the sun is shining, your PV system first supplies your devices. Surpluses are stored in the battery and fed into the grid. When there is not enough sun or in the evening hours, the batteries supply you with the electricity they have generated.
Full feed-in mode - During the day, excess electricity is stored when the PV system produces more energy than the inverter can process. At night and when there is little sun, the batteries supply the stored electricity so that the inverter delivers full power.
Time-controlled mode - Here you can set charging and discharging times in the Haier Smart Cube app. During the day, excess electricity is sold to the grid or stored. At night, when electricity prices are low, the batteries are charged from the grid to save costs.
Easily expandable
The two Smart Cube battery modules with 5kWh and 8kWh can be combined with each other to expand your capacity many times over. Up to 6 batteries form a storage tower. From here, you have the option of connecting up to 20 towers in parallel to achieve a maximum total capacity of 960kWh. Thanks to the modular design, installation is quick and easy—you can simply stack the batteries on top of each other to expand the system. No additional assembly is required.
Haier Smart Cube app
With the very clear Smart Cube app, you can monitor all devices in your system, adjust settings, or better plan charging processes. The information is also displayed in real time so that you can optimize your configuration. The app also allows you to query historical data. With the AI suggestion, you can discover unexpected possibilities. It can be downloaded from the App Store for Apple or Google Play for Android devices.
