With this 4.5 kW complete system from Offgridtec, you can feed the solar energy you generate directly into the public grid and significantly reduce your overall electricity costs. The system consists of ten bifacial, full black solar modules from Luxen Solar, each with an output of 450Wp, the MIC-3000 single-phase string inverter with Shine-WiLan-X2 monitoring modulefrom Growatt, a 100A electricity meter used for grid export limitations and self-consumption monitoring, and all necessary components to connect the system.

If required, the system can be easily mounted on the balcony railing or roof. The set is specially designed for side-by-side installation of the modules.

How does grid feed-in work?

Grid feed-in is a process in which the electricity generated is fed directly from the solar module and the appropriate inverter into the public power grid. Ideally, the inverter is installed near the solar modules and connected to the solar module using the solar connector. Regardless of the size of the system, it is necessary to register the solar system with the market master data register in accordance with legal requirements.

MIC 3000TL-X string inverter

With the Growatt MIC 3000TL-X string inverter (MPN: MIC 3000TL-X), we offer a single-phase inverter that combines high yields with user-friendliness. It is particularly suitable for small PV systems and delivers up to 3000W AC output power. Simply connect it to your solar system via the MC4 connector and you're ready to go. This allows you to cover part of your electricity needs in a cost-effective manner.
An optional Wi-Fi module also allows the device to be monitored and configured on the go using the Shine app or web application.

Why use a string inverter: The performance of solar modules varies depending on temperature, irradiation, and shading, which can lead to mismatching losses. These losses occur when the performance of one panel in a string is lower than the others, resulting in lower power production for the entire string. A string inverter can reduce these losses.
Maximum Power Point Tracking: Maximum Power Point Tracking technology generates the best possible yield from a solar system. The MPPT of the MIC inverter determines the optimal ratio between voltage and current throughout the day, depending on the solar radiation and the temperature of the solar modules. The large MPPT voltage range allows a large number of solar modules to be connected, enabling efficient energy yield. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing.

Growatt monitoring platform

The Growatt monitoring platform can be used with the ShineWiLan-X2 data logger. It is available as a smartphone app (for iOS and Android) and as a web version. Use of the platform is free of charge. Shine can be used to configure and monitor all Growatt products in your possession. To do this, storage data is recorded over a period of one month. Data protection plays an important role in wireless communication, so this information can be encrypted.
