MPPT: Ultra-fast maximum power point tracking

By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) modules, MPPT technology ensures that all available energy is extracted from the modules and stored. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing.

Remote monitoring and control

You can remotely control and monitor the extensive functions of your BlueSolar MPPT charger by attaching a Bluetooth dongle and pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your system is connected to the Victron Remote Management Internet Portal (VRM) via a GX device, you have full access to your MPPT anytime, anywhere. Both VictronConnect and VRM are available free of charge.

Load output

You can prevent the battery from being discharged too deeply by connecting all loads to the load output. The load output disconnects the loads when the battery has been discharged to a specified voltage value. Alternatively, an algorithm for intelligent battery management can be selected: see Battery Life.
The load output is short-circuit-proof. Some loads (especially inverters) are best connected directly to the battery. The inverter remote control is best connected to the load output. A special interface cable may be required; please refer to the manual.

Battery Life: Intelligent battery management

If the solar charge controller is unable to charge the battery to its full capacity within a day, the battery status will constantly switch back and forth between "partially charged" and "end of discharge." This operating mode (no regular full charging) will damage a battery within a few weeks or months.
The Battery Life Algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and, if necessary, raises the threshold value for disconnecting the load day by day (i.e., the load is disconnected earlier) until the energy gained is sufficient to charge the battery to almost 100%. From this point on, the threshold value for disconnecting the load is modulated so that the charge reaches almost 100% about once a week.
