Offgridtec’s 3-phase backup systems are ideal for emergency power supply or for expanding an existing solar system. In addition to lithium-ion batteries from Pytes, the systems include compatible MultiPlus-II inverters and a Victron Energy Cerbo GX MK2 for system monitoring. This allows you to ensure your power supply even in the event of a power outage.

Depending on your selection, Pytes batteries provide a storage capacity ranging from 20.5 kWh to 30.7 kWh, allowing you to use your energy efficiently and remain self-sufficient for longer when needed. Thanks to the UPS function, the MultiPlus remains powered on even during a grid failure and takes over powering the connected loads. The switchover occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.

Expanded Use of Your Backup System

To set up an ESS (Energy Storage System) with the backup system, one energy meter with a connection cable is required:

• Victron VM-3P75CT Energy Meter 3-phase power meter 75A/phase
• 5m Victron RJ45 UTP cable

With this energy meter, you can perform a grid-parallel installation and subsequently monitor your energy consumption or control your energy costs. Thanks to phase compensation, you can even use the 3-phase meter for 1-phase systems. This makes seamless integration of decentralized energy sources and consumers into the existing power grid a breeze.

To ensure an ESS can be included in a pre-configuration, the meter must be purchased in advance or as part of the system!

The Pytes E-BOX 48100R TE+ is a LiFePO4 energy storage system with a capacity of 5.12 kWh, offering high safety, sophisticated design, and consistent performance in continuous operation. The compact, maintenance-free battery is quick to install and can be expanded into larger storage systems via parallel connection. Ideal as a reliable foundation for your custom storage project.

The Electronic Core – the Victron Multiplus-II System

The Multiplus-II is a high-end device combination from Victron Energy that combines classic Multiplus components with an external current sensor and integrated anti-islanding function. The MultiPlus-II is shipped unconfigured by default. You can find the configuration guide for the system here in the download area. If you would like us to pre-configure the unit for you, we are happy to do so for an additional fee. To request this, add the item "Offgridtec Pre-configuration" to your cart during the ordering process. In this case, shipping may take 3–5 business days longer until the configuration is complete.
