Small System, Full MPPT Technology

Even the smallest BlueSolar controllers use MPPT. They continuously search for the point at which your module delivers the most power and convert the excess voltage into charging current. Compared to a PWM controller, this allows you to extract more energy—especially in cold weather and when the module voltage is significantly higher than the battery voltage.

Which controller is right for your module?

• BlueSolar MPPT 75/10: up to 75 V module voltage, 10 A charging current, up to 145 Wp at 12 V and up to 290 Wp at 24 V.
• BlueSolar MPPT 75/15: up to 75 V module voltage, 15 A charging current, up to 220 Wp at 12 V, and up to 440 Wp at 24 V.
• BlueSolar MPPT 100/15: up to 100 V module voltage, 15 A charging current, up to 220 Wp at 12 V, and up to 440 Wp at 24 V.

The 100/15 can handle a higher module voltage than the 75/15. This allows you to connect two modules in series and use thinner cables.

The Load Output

You can connect small loads such as lights, a pump, or a router directly to the load output. If the battery gets too low, the controller shuts off the output, protecting it from deep discharge. You can also use the app to set lighting functions, such as turning on lights at sunset.

Monitoring and Configuration

Use the VE.Direct port to connect the VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle and view power output, charge current, and battery voltage in the VictronConnect app. Use the VE.Direct TX Digital Output cable to dim connected lighting. Both are available in the charge controller accessories.

FAQ – BlueSolar MPPT 75/10 to 100/15

What is the difference between the 75/15 and 100/15 models?

Both charge at up to 15 A. The 100/15 supports up to 100 V module voltage instead of 75 V. You’ll need this if you want to connect two modules in series.

Can I connect an inverter to the load output?

No. You should connect inverters and other large loads directly to the battery. The load output is intended for small loads.

Can I use it to charge a lithium battery?

Yes. In the VictronConnect app, select the charging profile for LiFePO4. For this, you’ll need the VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle.

Which controller is suitable for a 100 Wp module?

A 100 Wp module connected to a 12V battery delivers about 8 A. The 75/10 is sufficient for this. If you plan to add a second module later, go with the 75/15 or 100/15 right away.
