Victron Energy gx gsm
The gx gsm is a cellular modem from Victron Energy (mpn gsm100100) for Internet provisioning in locations where a regular Internet connection is not available. It is compatible with the Octo gx, Venus gx and Color Control gx and is designed to connect the local system to the Victron Remote Management (vrm) system.
Operation requires an active standard SIM card that plugs directly into the gx gsm modem. The connection to the respective gx system is made via a supplied 1m usb cable. A small indoor gsm antenna is included as standard. Optionally there is also an active gsm outdoor antenna with 2 or 3 g support from Victron.
gx gsm also has an integrated gPS receiver
Besides the internet, the gx gsm also has a gPS receiver. To use this, purchase the optional active gsm antenna. (part number gsm900100100).

The gx gsm only provides internet connection for the above gx system control units: So there is no way to share the internet with laptops, phones, or other devices. For installations where more devices need the internet, e.g. a yacht or a motorhome, you should install a mobile router instead. More information here
