Maximum Power Point Tracking
By using Maximum Power Point Tracking (mppt) technology, a Solarasystem can achieve the optimum yield. The MIC inverter is equipped with mppt, which adjusts the optimum ratio of voltage and current throughout the day according to the solar radiation and the module temperature of the solar modules. With its wide mppt voltage range, many solar modules can be connected, enabling efficient energy generation. This advantage is particularly evident when the sky is partly cloudy and the light intensity is constantly changing.
Arc detection (AFCI)
In the event of incorrect installation or damage to your PV modules, plugs or cables, so-called electric arcs and resulting fires can occur. To prevent these without delay, the specialists at Growatt have developed an arc detection system that can be installed as an option. This guarantees a higher level of safety for you and your PV system.
Different environmental conditions such as temperature, irradiation and shading can lead to variable power differences between solar modules, known as mismatch losses. These losses occur when one solar module in a row has a lower output, resulting in an overall reduction in power production for the entire row of modules. A string inverter can help minimize these losses and optimize the efficiency of the entire solar power system.
