With the luna2000-15-s0 battery storage system from Huawei is one of the three Huawei luna2000 battery systems that feature the proven lithium iron phosphate storage technology. The LiFePO4 batteries are characterized by a long service life and a high level of safety, even at high power. The good cycle stability and high load capacity make the battery storage system an ideal partner for a powerful photovoltaic system, which can charge the storage system several times a day. The luna2000 is modularly expandable and cascadable.
In addition to the 15kWh battery modules, the luna2000-15-s0 battery storage system has a battery management system (bms), which is built into every fully-fledged Huawei battery system and therefore offers a high level of safety. The individual cells are monitored internally and protected against overvoltage, overtemperature, deep discharge, etc. in a balanced manner.

Battery management system in every operating system
The luna bms control module from Huawei is a battery management system that protects every battery module in the luna2000 series from unfavorable conditions and thus ensures safe and failure-free continuous operation. It does not matter how many storage modules are in use. The important thing is that one bms is used per tower. A tower consists of a maximum of three 5kWh battery modules, resulting in a capacity of 5-15kWh.
